Approvals
Accounts, minutes, a policy or a big purchase often need the agreement of several people. Chasing each of them by phone and email takes days, and afterwards nobody is sure who said yes. Approvals sends the paper to the people who must agree, lets each answer on their phone, and keeps the record.
For your organisation
- Open Approvals in your organisation's menu and tap New request.
- Write what is to be approved and the words people agree to.
- How they agree: with a tap, or by typing their name.
- What it takes: everyone must agree (one "no" ends it), or more than half.
- Who is asked when: everyone at once, or one after the other in the order you set.
- Choose who must agree and, if you like, a last day to answer. Tap Save the draft.
- On the draft's page, add the papers to read, then tap Send for approval. From then on nothing in it can be changed.
- Watch the answers come in. Remind them writes to those who have not answered. Take it back cancels it.
- The record as a PDF shows what was asked, who answered what and when.
Reminders go by themselves two days before the last day. A request that passes its last day undecided ends as "Ran out of time".
Straight from the minutes, a policy or an expense claim: open the minutes of a meeting, a policy or a claim and tap Send for approval. A new request opens with the name and the words filled in. You choose who must agree, save and send as usual. The request keeps a link back to the page it came from. The page itself is not changed by the answers.
The same request every year? On the page of a request tap Keep as a template. Next time, tap New request and choose it under Start from a template: the words, how people agree and who is asked are filled in, and you can change anything before you save. You can keep up to 30 templates. A template keeps no papers: add this year's papers after you save.
A report: under Reports, the report Approvals shows how many requests were sent in a period, how they ended, how many days a decision took, and what still waits for whom.
About typing a name: it records that this person, signed in to Azonation, agreed at that time. It is not the special kind of signature the law asks for on some papers (such as deeds). For those, ask your adviser.
For a member

- Tap I agree (type your full name first if you are asked to), or I do not agree with a word why.
- Your answer is given once and cannot be changed.
