New in October 2026: more about members, and smaller helps everywhere

A round of small improvements that organisations asked for most.

Members

  1. Extra member details: on the Members page, open Extra member details and add your own boxes, such as shirt size, school or dietary needs. Tick On the join form to ask them when people ask to join, and Members can change it to let members keep it up to date themselves.
  2. Emergency contact and year of birth are on the member form. The year is optional; the member page then shows the age, and the report Members today shows members by age group.
  3. What a member agrees to: on the member page, under What they agree to, record yes or no for email, text messages, photos and fundraising, and how it was given. Text messages go only to people who said yes; email news skips people who said no; a No photos badge shows on the member.
  4. Membership types can have a description, an age range and a most number of members. A full type cannot be chosen on the join form.
For a member: on your page of your organisation you can choose whether it may see the phone number and address from your profile (off at first), give your emergency contact, change what you agree to, and keep your extra details up to date.

Meetings and events

  1. Repeat: when you schedule a meeting or an event, choose every week, every two weeks or every month, and when it ends. When you change one later, choose Only this one or This one and the ones after it.
  2. Waiting list: when an event is full, people who say they are coming go on a waiting list. When a place frees up, the first person moves up by themselves and is told. On Who is coming you can also give someone a place by hand.
  3. Action points: in the minutes, write each action point with who does it and by when. Each one becomes a task for that member, and the minutes show when it is done. Members see the action points under the minutes too.
  4. No photos: on attendance and check-in lists, people who said no to photos have a No photos badge, and a line at the top says how many there are, so whoever takes pictures knows.
  5. Cancelled by mistake? When you restore a meeting or event of a series, choose This one and the ones after it to bring them all back at once.

Projects, assets, documents and messages

  1. Projects: tasks have a priority and a start day, and a bar shows how many are done. Under Money, Budget by category splits the budget into lines (Venue, Food…) and shows what is left of each.
  2. Assets: add the warranty and insurance end dates and the supplier; you are reminded before they run out. With a useful life, the asset page shows what it is worth now; when you dispose of it, write what it was sold for.
  3. Documents: give a document a review date. The people who manage documents are reminded 30 days before and on the day.
  4. Messages: a sent message shows how many members opened it in the app. Opening the email is not counted.
Who did what: pages now show who approved a booking or hours, who recorded a payment, who cancelled a receipt and who finished a task, with the date.
