Where a meeting happens, and Azon Rooms
Each meeting can happen wherever suits it: in a hall, on Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, in an Azon Room, or in a hall with people joining online too.
- On the meeting form, choose Where it happens: in person, Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Azon Room, another online service, or in person and online.
- Members tap Join on Zoom to join inside Azonation on a computer (on a phone the Zoom app opens). Join on Google Meet and Join on Microsoft Teams open their own window, because those services do not run inside other websites.
- With the Azon Rooms add-on, choose Azon Room: members tap Join the Azon Room and meet right inside Azonation, with video, sound, screen sharing, chat and raise hand. Hosts can mute, remove, lock the room, use a waiting room, end it for everyone and open a quick vote. Guests join with a private link and their name.
- Who joins a Room is marked present by itself (only where nobody has marked them yet); for Zoom, Meet and Teams the attendance page offers Mark who joined online as present.
Minutes: the Rooms add-on gives your organisation meeting minutes each month (each person in a room counts); the Plan page shows how many are used, and you can add a pack. A meeting that is running is never cut off.
More in a Room: hosts can Record (everyone sees that it is recording; recordings stay with the meeting and can be shared with members), allow Captions, and after the meeting Draft the minutes with AI from what was said: the draft waits for the secretary to check. For a talk to many people, switch on Webinar mode: panellists speak, everyone else watches and asks questions. The Space and 3D views are early tries: voices come from where people stand, and a headset can Enter VR.
