Let members pay online
Members can pay an event fee online, by card. The money goes straight to your organisation's own account, and Azonation writes it into your books and gives the receipt.
- Open Online payments in the menu (under Finance) and tap Connect an account.
- You are taken to the payment service. Open an account for your organisation there, or connect the one you have. It asks about your organisation and its bank account.
- Back in Azonation the page says Ready. Choose where the money goes in your books.
- From now on a member sees Pay online on an event with a fee, once they have said they are coming, and on their membership when their fee is due.
- Under What members can pay online untick Event fees or Membership fees if you want to take one of them by hand only.
You do nothing when a member pays: the payment is on the event's Fees page, in your books under Finance, and the member has the receipt.
The payment service keeps its own charge for each payment. Money back: under Payments made online tap Give money back beside a payment. Give everything back, or type a smaller amount. The money goes back to the card it was paid with; the event's Fees page, your books and the receipt are corrected by themselves. If you give money back in your account at the payment service instead, Azonation notices and corrects the same things.
Does the page say paying online is not switched on yet? Then Azonation has not opened it yet. You can still write payments down by hand.
