Breakout rooms in a meeting
Breakout rooms split people into small rooms for a short talk, then bring everyone back to the main room. The host and the co-hosts run them.
- Tap Breakout rooms in the meeting's controls. Under How many rooms, choose from 1 to 20, and tap Make the rooms.
- Put each person in a room with the choice beside their name. Or tap Share out evenly to spread the people who are not in a room yet, at random.
- Under Minutes open, choose up to 120 minutes, and tap Open the rooms. Each person is asked to join their room.
- To tell everyone something, type it under Message to everyone and tap Send message. It appears in every room.
- Tap Close the rooms. Everyone has a few seconds, then goes back to the main room. Remove all rooms takes the rooms away.
When you are asked to join: you leave the main room for that one. Your microphone and camera stay as they are. Tap Back to the main room to return at any time.
Free and Plus: breakout rooms are included in an organisation's meeting. On a free personal meeting the panel says they are part of Azon Rooms Plus.
