Azonation on your phone, like an app
One tap on your home screen instead of typing an address. It opens without the browser bar, and it opens even when the signal is poor.
- On an Android phone or a computer: on your first page, in the card Azonation on your phone, press Put it on this device and say yes.
- On an iPhone or iPad: press the Share button of your browser, then choose Add to Home Screen.
- Open Azonation from its icon from now on.
Not now? Press Not now and the card stays away for a week. You find it any time under Get the app in your menu.
No button there? After the app was removed, or after you closed the browser's question, the browser stops offering its button for a long time. Get the app then shows the steps to do it by hand: on a computer open the menu of Chrome or Edge (the three dots) and choose Install Azonation; on an Android phone choose Install app or Add to Home screen; in Firefox on a Windows computer press the web apps button at the right end of the address bar (Firefox 143 or newer). Firefox on a Mac or on Linux cannot do this yet.
No connection: a note at the bottom says so. You can still open the app, but what you see may be old, and nothing can be saved until you are connected again.
A new version: when Azonation has been improved, a note says A new version of Azonation is ready. Press Update; it takes a second.
Nothing of your organisation's data is kept on the phone by this. Only the app itself is. (One exception: door mode keeps a list of names for a few hours, so that it works without a signal.)
Notices on your phone, also when Azonation is closed
- Open Notifications, then Notification settings.
- In the card On this device, press Switch on for this device and say yes when your phone asks.
- Press Send me one now to see that it arrives.
On an iPhone or iPad: first put Azonation on your home screen and open it from there. Only then can it send you notices.
Your card and tickets in the wallet of your phone
- Open My card and press Add to Apple Wallet (on an iPhone) or Add to Google Wallet (on other phones).
- For an event you are going to: open the event, and press the same button under Your ticket.
- Your membership card of one organisation (its name, your number and type, paid until): open the organisation under My memberships and press the button under Membership.
- A meeting that is still to come: open the meeting and press the button. Good for a big meeting such as the annual general meeting.
- At the door, open the wallet of your phone and show the code. It works without Azonation and without a signal.
- All your passes in one place: under your card on My card is the list Your passes: your membership cards, and the meetings and events still to come, each with its wallet button.
Each kind has its own colour, so you tell them apart at a glance. A ticket or a meeting comes up by itself on your phone when it is near. A pass keeps itself up to date: when your membership is renewed, a meeting or event moves, or you make a new code for your card, the pass in your wallet changes by itself within a few minutes. A cancelled meeting or event, or a ticket for something you are no longer going to, goes grey. You see a button only where Azonation offers that wallet.
No ticket for an event? A ticket is there once you have said that you are coming. Open the event and answer; your ticket appears at once. A meeting shows only when it is for you (for everyone, or for your branch).
Do this on each phone or computer where you want notices. Under On my devices you choose which kinds come there. When you sign out, notices stop on that device.
