A short summary of a document
A long policy or contract, read in a minute. The AI helper writes a summary and the main points; you read it, and copy it or put it in the description.
- On AI helper, tick Summarising a document.
- Open a document with a file and press Summarise with AI. When you are changing the document, Put in the description fills its description; press Save to keep it.
- Azonation reads PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel (also the old .doc, .ppt and .xls), text and CSV files. With a very long file only the beginning is read, and it says so.
- A scanned page or a photo: the AI service reads the pages itself (with Claude and ChatGPT; Gemini reads photos only). It costs more, so it counts as one AI use for every 5 pages, and the window tells you how many before you press the button. Up to 20 pages.
- You may also tick Members may summarise shared documents: members then see Summarise with AI on documents shared with them (5 a day each, counted in your monthly number). Off to begin with.
