A new organisation: get ready in a few minutes
A new organisation does not have to start from an empty page. Azonation knows what a club, a charity or a mosque usually needs, and sets it up for you. For admins.
- Open Getting started in your organisation's menu (or the card on the overview).
- Under The usual things, set up in one go, look at what is ticked: membership types, committee titles, a first committee and roles for your helpers. Untick what you do not want.
- Press Set these up.
- Then follow the First steps one by one. Each has a Do this button, and ticks itself when it is done.
Everything that is set up is ordinary: rename it, change it or delete it on its own page. Nothing is made that you did not tick.
Roles for helpers: Secretary, Treasurer, Membership secretary and Events organiser come with what each usually needs. You give a role to a person when you invite them.
What is offered fits your kind of organisation and is written in your organisation's language. With the Planning module you are also offered first goals for the year.
Fees: tick Members pay a fee, choose how often (once a year, every month…), and type the fee if it is the same for everyone. Leave it empty to set a fee for each membership type later.
A first meeting: tick Plan it now and choose the day. It is made for 19:00; change anything afterwards.
Try it first: tick Add 5 sample members to get made-up people to practise with. They have no email address, so nobody gets a message. Remove the sample members takes them away again, with everything you tried with them.
The first time you open a new organisation, Azonation brings you to this page by itself.
Done with it? Put this page away takes the card off the overview. The page stays in the menu.
