Set a budget, and see what each part brings in

Decide at the start of the year what you mean to earn and spend, then watch how the year really goes.

  1. Open Professional accounting, then Budget.
  2. Write an amount beside the accounts you want to plan, for example Membership fees and Rent. Leave the others empty.
  3. Tap Save the budget. Each line now shows what has happened so far and what is left.
The arrows at the top move to the year before or the year after, so you can prepare next year's budget early.
Income centres. Does your organisation run a hall, a school or a shop? Open Income centres, add each one, and choose it on the lines of your invoices and journal entries. You then see what each one earned, spent and has left.
For money already recorded under Finance, open the Journal, tap the three dots on the entry and choose Income centres.
