News and articles on your website
Post news and longer articles on your website, with a picture, in the languages you choose. Visitors can read them, and follow them in a feed.
- Open Website and email, press Pages and menu, then News and articles.
- Press New post. Choose News or Article, then write the title, a short summary and the text.
- Choose the picture at the top from your albums that are for everyone, and add categories, separated by commas.
- Under When it goes up choose Keep as a draft, Publish now or Publish on a date.
- Press Create post. Later, press the post in the list to change it.
Only published posts show. A draft is kept but visitors do not see it, and a post with a date in the future waits until that day and time (your organisation's time).
Author. Pick a member who agreed to a page on your website, or leave it empty so the post is from your organisation.
Where news shows. Each post has its own page. The Latest news section can go on any page, and the News page lists all the posts, newest first. Each post can also be shown in a news section of its own.
News feed. The News page shows an address for a feed. People who read news in an app or a feed reader paste it there, and new posts arrive by themselves. The feed is in your main language.
More languages. Write the title and text in each language your website is in. Where a language has no words yet, visitors see the main language, with a grey hint.
