Door mode: one phone at the entrance
A screen that only scans. Give the phone to a volunteer at the door: there is nothing to tap by mistake.
- Open the meeting, the event or the work day, then Attendance and Check-in by QR code.
- Press Door mode. Allow the camera when the phone asks.
- Hold each card or ticket in front of the camera. Green means marked present. Red tells you why not.
- Press the X at the top to go back.
The camera works on iPhone, Android and laptops.
The number at the top is how many people are here now.
A code that will not scan? Press Type a code instead and type its letters.
The screen stays on while door mode is open, and the phone buzzes at each answer.
A poor signal in the hall? Go on scanning. Open door mode while you still have a signal (at home, or outside the hall): the phone then knows who may come in and answers by itself. It says No signal, keeps each scan, and shows Kept on this phone with a number. When the signal is back the scans are sent by themselves, each with the time it was really scanned. A card the phone does not know is kept too, and checked when it is sent.
Do not sign out and do not clear the browser while scans are still kept on the phone. If it says some kept scans were not accepted, look at the attendance list and correct it by hand.
