Diversity and equality: the gender question

See how many women take part in your organisation, on the committee and as volunteers, without anyone's answer being shown. The question is always optional.

  1. Everyone may answer Gender (optional) when they sign up or later on Your profile (About you): Woman, Man, Non-binary, I describe it myself, or Prefer not to say.
  2. Organisations see totals only. A person may tick Show my gender to an organisation on its page under My memberships; it is off to begin with.
  3. For a member without an account, the Admin may fill it in on the member form (or in a file you import), only if the member told you.
  4. Open Reports → Diversity and equality: members, committee members and officers, new members, who came to meetings and events, volunteers and their hours, election candidates and those elected, year by year and by branch. A number under 5 shows as "fewer than 5", and a second number is hidden when it could be worked out.
  5. In Planning, a goal can be counted by Azonation: "share of women on the committee" or "among members". In the annual report you can switch on a Diversity and equality part.

People who take part without being members (helpers who aren't members, guests at meetings, events and work days) are shown on their own in every report, never in a member figure and never in your member count. In the diversity report a helper's gender is known only when they have an Azonation account and answered; guests are not asked, so only how many came is shown.
