Backgrounds and noise reduction
Blur what is behind you, or put a picture behind you, and reduce background noise. These choices are yours: they are remembered on this device and apply to your camera and microphone here, and others see your background in the room.
- Tap Picture and sound in the meeting's controls.
- Under Background, tap None, Blur or Picture. For a picture, tap Choose a picture and pick a photo from your device. Tap Change picture to use another.
- Under Sound, switch on Reduce background noise to cut steady noise such as a fan. Each change applies at once.
Your video stays on your device: the blur and the picture background are worked out on your own device, and the video never leaves it for this. The small engine that finds you in the picture is served from Azonation's own server, not from another company's.
Not every device can do this. If your device or browser cannot blur or change the background, the panel says Not available on this device. The camera works with no background. Noise reduction is done by your browser, so it depends on the browser you use.
