Keep a branch's money apart
One set of books, but you can see what each branch brought in and spent.
- Open Finance and tap Money in or Money out.
- Fill it in as usual. Under Belongs to choose the branch, for example London · Camden.
- Tap Save. On the list, the Branch filter shows one branch's money.
Some money finds its branch by itself: the fees of a branch's event, the money of a branch's project, and a member's membership fee (it counts for their home branch).
Under Reports, Money by branch and Branches side by side compare your branches.
A branch treasurer (someone who works for one branch only) records and sees that branch's money in and out. They do not see what your cash box and bank accounts hold, and cannot move money between them.
