Pages about me
An organization can write a page about you for its website. You decide how it is shown, and you can change your answer at any time.
- You are told by email and in Azonation, under Notifications. The email and the notice open that exact page. You can also open Pages about me in your own menu at any time.
- Read the page as it is written. A page waiting for you says Waiting for your answer. How it looks shows the page as it is shown now.
- Under How may this page be shown? choose Public (everyone on the organization's website and in its links), Members only (signed-in members of the organization, inside Azonation), or No (not shown anywhere; the organization keeps the page for its records).
- Tick Let people send me a message if you want a button on your page that sends a message to you by email. Your email address is never shown.
- Press Save my answer.
- Want something different on the page? Press Suggest a change, write what should change, and press Send suggestion. The organization reads it and decides.
You can change your answer at any time. Open the page again and save a new answer.
Until you answer, nothing is shown. A page with no answer from you is not on the website and not in Azonation.
Under 18 is never public. If you are under 18, the most your page can be is Members only, whatever you choose.
Changed words. If the organization changes the words after you agreed, the page says Changed and asks you again. Until you answer, the words you last agreed stay up. If you chose No, a change of words does not ask you again; the organization has to ask you itself.
A reminder until you answer. A page waiting for your answer is listed under To do on your organization's Home, and a one-line notice at the top of your own Home says so. Press Hide here on that notice to hide it on this device only. A page that is written later shows the notice again, and it goes once you have answered.
Your name and photo come from Your profile. Change them there and the page follows.
Where the page is shown. Under How it looks there are links for your saved answer. Public gives See it on the website ↗, which opens the page on the organization's website in a new tab, and Copy link. Members only gives See it as members do, which opens the page as members see it inside Azonation. No gives no link. If the organization's website is not published yet, the line says so. A link always follows the answer you saved: if you have changed the choice but not saved it, press Save my answer first.
Member since shows the year you joined. If the organization has no joining date for you, that line is left out.
Suggesting a change works when the organization has Website Plus.
