यह पाठ एक मसौदा है, जिसे Azonation के जनता के लिए खुलने से पहले एक वकील जाँच रहा है। इसमें अभी बदलाव हो सकता है।

Azonation is shared by many clubs, charities and associations. These rules keep it safe and steady for all of them. They apply to every organisation and every person who uses Azonation, and they are part of our terms of service. “We” means Azon Group Ltd.

An organisation is responsible for what its admin and the people with roles do in its name.

What you must not do

Unlawful or harmful content

Do not store, send or publish anything that:

  • breaks the law, or helps someone else to break it;
  • abuses or exploits children in any way;
  • promotes violence, terrorism or hatred against people because of who they are;
  • is someone else’s work (text, pictures, music, logos) that you have no right to use;
  • reveals private information about a person without a lawful reason.

Spam and bought lists

  • Do not send messages to people who have not agreed to hear from you, where the law requires their agreement.
  • Do not use bought, rented, swapped or collected lists of email addresses or phone numbers.
  • Do not hide who a message is from, or use a misleading subject.
  • Do not keep writing to someone who has asked you to stop.
  • Do not try to get round the sending limits, for example by splitting one list across several organisations.

Harassment

Do not use Azonation to threaten, bully, stalk or harass anyone. This includes notices, messages, comments, members’ groups, the ideas board and organisations’ websites.

Malware and attacks on security

  • Do not upload or spread viruses or other harmful software, or links to them.
  • Do not try to get into accounts, organisations or data that are not yours.
  • Do not test or probe our security without our written permission. If you have found a weakness, please tell us at support@azonation.com.
  • Do not get round limits, access controls or the restrictions of your plan.

Overloading the service

Do not flood Azonation with requests, uploads or messages in a way that slows it down for others, or use it for something unrelated to running an organisation, such as general file hosting.

Scraping

Do not use robots or scripts to collect data from the app, from organisations’ websites or from directories of members. An organisation that needs its own data in other software should use the exports in the app or the API access module.

Impersonation

  • Do not pretend to be another person or organisation, or to act for them when you do not.
  • Do not set up an organisation or a website that could be mistaken for one that is not yours.
  • Do not pretend to be Azonation or our staff.

Misuse of members’ data

  • Use members’ data only for the organisation’s own purposes, the ones its members were told about.
  • Do not sell it, rent it or give it to others without a lawful basis.
  • Do not look up or export members’ records out of curiosity or for private use. A role gives access for the work of that role only.
  • Do not record health, religion, ethnic origin or similar data unless the organisation has a lawful basis.
  • Do not record children without the right to do so.

Misleading fundraising

  • Say truthfully who is raising money and what it is for.
  • Do not show false totals, false targets or invented stories.
  • Do not call yourself a registered charity if you are not one.
  • Do not record Gift Aid declarations that donors did not make.
  • Use donations for the purpose you gave.

Banned or sanctioned activities

Do not use Azonation:

  • for an organisation that is banned by law in the United Kingdom;
  • for, or on behalf of, people or bodies under United Kingdom sanctions or other sanctions that apply to you or to us;
  • to launder money, to finance crime or terrorism, or to run pyramid or similar schemes.

The open API and keys

  • Keep API keys secret. Do not put them in public code, public pages or messages.
  • Do not share a key outside your organisation, or use someone else’s key.
  • Stay within the request limits. Do not use several keys to get round them.
  • Do not use the API to build a service that copies Azonation or resells access to it.

AI drafts used to deceive

The AI helper writes drafts for a person to check. Do not use it to make:

  • minutes or records of things that did not happen;
  • false statements presented as fact;
  • messages that pretend to come from a particular person who did not write or approve them;
  • content that breaks any other rule on this page.

What we may do about it

We look at what happened, how serious it is, and whether it has happened before. Then we may:

  • warn you and ask you to put it right;
  • pause a feature, such as sending messages, a website, online payments or an API key;
  • remove or hide content that breaks these rules;
  • pause an account or an organisation;
  • close an account or an organisation, in serious or repeated cases;
  • report what we found to the police, a regulator or another authority, where the law requires it or where someone may be in danger.

Where we can, we tell you first and give you time to put things right. In urgent cases, for example where people are at risk or the service is under attack, we act at once and explain afterwards.

If you think we got it wrong, write to support@azonation.com and a person will look at it again.

A paid plan is not refunded when we close an organisation for a serious breach of these rules [to confirm]. See cancellation and refunds.

How to report abuse

If you see something on Azonation, on a website at an address ending in azonation.org, or in a message sent through Azonation that breaks these rules, please write to support@azonation.com. It helps if you include:

  • the address of the page, or the name of the organisation;
  • a copy of the message, with the date and time you received it;
  • what is wrong, in a sentence or two;
  • how we can reach you.

We read every report. We do not tell the organisation who reported it unless you agree or the law requires it [to confirm].

If someone is in immediate danger, call the emergency services first.

If your concern is about how an organisation uses your personal data, you can also ask that organisation directly. Our privacy notice explains your rights.
